Become a Sponsor for the Spirit of Houston Alumni Network!

On behalf of the Spirit of Houston Alumni Network we would like for you to join us for an exciting year in 2023 as the Cougars join the Big 12 Conference. The games are going to be very exciting as we play many of our old foes from the Southwest Conference days as well as new rivals Oklahoma State, West Virginia, and Brigham Young. Add on Cincinnati and Central Florida joining us from the American Athletic Conference and the stage is set for some great football.

We are expecting to host additional band alumni as well as band parents this year as season ticket sales have been rising in the past month. We would like to continue to be able to offer everyone the chance to come early, wear red, be loud and celebrate with us outside the Bert Winston Band Facility for each of our home games… but that does take funding. Please consider making a donation and becoming one of our SOHAA Tailgate Sponsors for the 2023-24 year.

Financial contributions collected through sponsorships go directly towards operating expenses throughout the year. Operating expenses include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing fun and enjoyable TAILGATE experiences at UH Sporting Events,
  • Hosting our annual Cougar Brass and Spirit Groups Reunion during basketball season,
  • Honoring students for their hard work and commitment through SCHOLARSHIPS,
  • Hosting events for Spirit of Houston alumni and members.

There are three levels of sponsorship: White, Red, and Gold

White Donor (minimum donation $100)

Red Donor (minimum donation $250)

Gold Donor (minimum donation $500)

Other Donation (up to $99.99)

While we understand that not all are able to donate at one of the three designated levels, any and all donations are appreciated and needed.

All donations at the White Level and above will receive recognition on the 2023 Tailgate Banner to be displayed at the tailgate.

There is a $10 charge to attend our tailgate. Additional donations are welcome and greatly appreciated to help cover the cost of our expenses.

The Spirit of Houston Alumni Network is a member of the University of Houston Alumni Association (UHAA) and is regarded as a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization. Sponsorships can be used as a charitable donation and used for tax purposes.
